Finally, I moved from Charlotte to Atlanta and am reunited with my husband after a seven-month relocation process. At least I now have some real-life experience to apply to my sequel. Sigh.

August 2008
Revisions, revisions!
July 2008
Began outlining Branches of Autumn.
June 2008
Submitted Amber Vines to author DeAnna Julie Dodson and Furman professor Dr. Robin Visel for revision.
April 7, 2008
Completed Amber Vines, sitting at my favorite table near the fireplace of Ballantyne's It's a Grind. Well, formerly It's a Grind. I cried when that coffee house closed, and I still can't talk about it.
March 2005
Began writing Amber Vines in the spring of my senior year at Furman.
Spring 2003
Outlined initial ideas for Amber Vines, sitting on a swing beside a flower bed on the Furman University campus. Sigh. I miss that campus.
